Prospective student, recruitment staff or study abroad counseling center send initial documentation to La Xenia’s Admissions Office for verification:

Copy of transcript of certificate/diploma attained

IELTS result or English test equivalent to IELTS or La Xenia in-house English test result

The Admissions Office will make an “Offer Letter” based on the student’s qualifications from the documents received.

The Admissions Office informs the Finance Office to make an invoice for 1st payment of initial fees.

The Admissions Office will send an “Offer Letter” and 1st invoice within 72 hours after receiving all the documentation.

After receiving our “Offer Letter” and 1st Invoice, prospective student will be requested to sign the “Offer Letter” and send the “Offer Letter” back to La Xenia’s Admissions Office along with making the deposit of the 1st initial payment within two weeks.

After receiving the first payment, the Finance Office will send the official receipt of payment and the Admissions Office will send the “Admission Letter.”

Kindly contact the La Xenia’s Admissions Office to arrange your arrival date before purchasing the transport ticket to come to Switzerland. The Admissions Office will prepare an arrival plan. We will be waiting to welcome you at La Xenia’s campus where your residence is located.

Upon arriving in Switzerland, the Registrar will send information of class schedule, training plan, resources (if any), guidelines of Registrar, etc. to students.

After receiving our “Offer Letter” and 1st Invoice, the prospective student will be requested to sign the “Offer Letter” and send the “Offer Letter” back to La Xenia’s Admissions Office along with making the deposit of the 1st initial payment within two weeks.

After receiving the first payment, the Finance Office will send the official receipt of payment and the Admissions Office will guide the prospective student in preparing the visa application at the request of the Embassy and the Export Administration Immigration.

The Admissions Office will send a checklist of required documents and the prospective student must send a complete scanned copy of the required visa documents to the Admissions Office for checking and scheduling a visa trial interview with a school representative. The List of Required Documents is located in the next section.

If the visa trial interview and the visa documents are confirmed to be complete, the Admissions Office will issue all other relevant documents (Admission Letter, Payment Receipt, Authorization Letter, Residence Letter, etc.) that are required for the visa to the prospective student.

Prospective students must apply for Swiss Student Visa at the Swiss Embassy in your home country. After receiving all the necessary documents from the Admissions Office, students must schedule an appointment with Swiss Embassy to submit the visa application.

The student must submit all required documents and attend an interview at the Swiss Embassy. Students must show a minimum of 6,000 CHF in their bank account at one of the Swiss approved banks. Click here for List of Authorised Banks. All visa required documents must be in English or officially translated in English and notarized.

Students must inform the Admissions Office after they have submitted all the required documents and attended the interview at the Swiss Embassy in their home country.

It takes a minimum of 2-to 3-months to receive the Swiss Student Visa result from the Migration Office in Switzerland.

The Admissions Office will follow-up with the La Xenia’s School Secretary to check on the status of the student visa with the Migration Office in Switzerland.

If the Migration Office in Switzerland needs more information, the Admissions Office and La Xenia’s School Secretary will support the student in preparing any needed information and provide a letter to the Migration Office.

When the Migration Office approves the student visa:

The Admissions Office will inform the student and Finance to issue the student an invoice for the 2nd total fees payment.

The balance of your total fees must be paid after La Xenia has presented a proof of your visa confirmation but not later than 4 weeks prior to the term commencement date.

Upon receiving full payment, La Xenia will issue a Confirmation of Full Payment (CFP) letter and will send it directly to the Swiss Embassy in your home country so you may receive your visa stamp. After that, you may book your flight ticket.

Kindly contact La Xenia Admissions Office to arrange your arrival date before purchasing the flight ticket. The Admissions Office will prepare an arrival plan once the student purchases the flight ticket to Zurich airport, where we will be waiting to welcome you and transfer you to La Xenia’s campus where your residence is located.
